Maternal and Child Health
Child and family health services are free for parents and carers of children aged between 0 - 5 years at Maaruma-Li AMS.
Our specialised staff will walk you through our process, focussing on open communication, Cultural safety and competence to ensure inclusive care and self-determination.
We can assist with providing continual care, stronger starts to life, healthy development, to make sure important milestones are reached.
We support mothers, babies, children and families with Culturally safe care, early identification, treatment, ongoing follow up and referrals.
Our child and family health nurse can assist by connecting you with a doctor, midwife, speech pathologist, social worker, psychologist, paediatrician and other Allied Health specialists for assessments and care plans.
We do not require a referral, you can walk in, call us or make an appointment online.

When you come to Maaruma - Li AMS for the first time, we'll set you up with a 715 Health Check. It's a free, overall health check for Mob, covered by Medicare (30 - 45 minutes required).
