Integrated Domestic Family Violence Services
Our Culturally safe IDFVS program delivery supports risk, safety and recovery through an Aboriginal community-led model of care, aligned with Culturally governed program delivery.
Our experienced IDFVS team provides crisis support to victim survivors, children, families, people using violence, and disadvantaged people living with disability. In addition, we deliver trauma informed, place based, modified and adapted client focused care, as well as guidance and support through integrated case management and case co-ordination
Our IDFVS team collaborates with medical professionals, registered nurses, child and family health who conduct medical assessments and care plans, and provide ongoing care and referrals when required.
The IDFVS team also provides advocacy, and support by collaborating with key stakeholders to provide domestic and family violence, mental health, alcohol & other drugs, anger management, behavioural change, court support and clinics.
We create Culturally safe pathways; to reduce harm and support long term change. We make warm referrals for medical treatment, short term and long-term housing, outreach, telehealth and brokerage.
